The Service provides:

• AI-assisted content categorization into structured knowledge banks (SANCTUM, NOETICA, DREAMS)
• Multi-layer privacy system (VEIL, ABYSS, DREAMS) for content access control
• Timeline and archive functionality for retrieving historical entries
• Export functionality for data portability

3. User Accounts and Data Ownership

Users are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials
• All activities that occur under their account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of their account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems

5. Subscription Tiers and AI Usage

The Service offers multiple subscription tiers with different AI usage limits:

• Basic Tier: 100 AI messages per month
• Premium Tier: 1,000 AI messages per month
• Unlimited Tier: Unlimited AI messages

AI usage includes chat responses and automated content categorization. Tier limits reset monthly. Access to your data (timeline, archive, export) is never restricted by tier limits.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our data collection and usage practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy.

Key points:

• We collect minimal personal information (email, usage statistics)
• Your journal entries and personal content are encrypted and stored securely
• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties
• You can export or delete your data at any time

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Chronoglyph and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

8. Service Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

We strive to maintain 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, you may export your data before account deletion.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chronoglyph shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted to or through the Service by any third party

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece (European Union), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
